You look at the sea. And then you notice a boy sitting on a cast and he seems conducting the waves. How is that possible?
Gdynia. A Polish seaport. From the southern pier, close to Gdynia Aquarium you can see the Dreamer (Polish: Pomnik Marzyciel) – a 2-metre bronze cast depicting a boy with a baton in his hand. Called also a conductor of the waves, the boy greets and bids farewell to the visitors of Gdynia seaport.
The author of this truly interesting statue is Adam Dawczak-Dębicki.
